ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides support services, including but not limited to daily living skills, life skill development, supportive residential counseling, etc. as needed by each resident.
Maintains the security and safety of the residents and the facility.
Communicate, in written & verbal form, assessments & observations of clients to other treatment team members.
Maintains accurate/current client documentation according to accrediting standards.
Crisis intervention counseling via the 24/7 hotline;
Provide assessment and intake for emergency safe shelter;
Provide information, referrals, advocacy and supportive listening via hotline;
Perform frequent house checks to insure that the shelter facility is safe and clean.
Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of office areas;
Filing, photocopying, data entry and compiling statistical data as requested.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Basic computer and software skills and experience
Complete work with accuracy and meet deadlines
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; understand and follow directions
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, families, caregivers, service providers and staff
Knowledge of community resources is highly desirable
