Job Responsibilities:
Performs evaluation and assessment of spiritual needs for palliative care patients and families
Contributes to the overall psychosocial assessment of patients and families
Participate in the development and implementation of sibling and family bereavement programming
Coordinate spiritual services and communicate with other members of the Palliative Care IDT as appropriate
Education of staff and coworkers
Complete and appropriate documentation of patient care services
Participation in inpatient consultation psychosocial team clinical responsibilities
Weekly participation in interdisciplinary team meetings to review active cases
Assist in the development of standards of care
Perform other duties as requested
Adhere to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
Participate in the education of medical trainees such as fellows, residents, medical students, nursing students, and CPE students
Additional duties as requested/assigned.

Qualifications:
Master of Divinity or Theological Studies from an accredited graduate school
Minimum one (1) extended unit of Clinical Pastoral Education
Ordination and regular supervision by an appropriate judicatory, minimum of five (5) years of local parish ministry
