Computer & Conference Technology Specialist - CCTS

 

The CCTS is responsible for first-level tech support of ETBC computers, phones, and streaming services with associated equipment. The CCTS coordinates and provides support for onsite and virtual meetings, recruits and trains volunteers who work before, during, and after virtual and onsite meetings, and provides support for meeting participants.

The CCTS is responsible for the logistical coordination of conferences, meetings, and events. They manage the allocation, setup, use, and breakdown of all virtual and physical conference/meeting rooms, the distribution, storage, and maintenance of all video conference platforms used in conference/meeting rooms, and associated computers, cameras, microphones, laptops, etc. This individual ensures that all video conference items needed for a conference/meeting are set up, properly configured, and working correctly before, during, and after the meeting. The CCTS supports collaborative video conference efforts when required by Enon entities, including but not limited to the Webmaster, Social Media, or Audio Visual teams of ETBC.

 

The CCTS demonstrates the ability to prioritize, organize and function as part of a team. They need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to interact professionally, demonstrate clear thinking, and promote positive relationships with staff and users.

 

This position reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.

Responsibilities

· Serve as primary emergency support and backup of LiveStream-related platforms.

· Provide training for approved persons in a video conference and LiveStream-related platforms.

· Manage the use of any ETBC-related video conference platforms and software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.

· Support AV, Webmaster, and Social Media Teams when integrating video conference platforms with ETBC activities

· Provide routine and emergency maintenance services for all video conference platforms and software

· Manage ETBC online storage platforms such as WeTransfer, DropBox, OneDrive, GoogleDrive, etc.

· Installation and support of streaming and conference equipment, including Cameras, cabling, and wireless devices

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

· Monitor and manage ETBC computer lab(s) when in use by internal or external organizations

· Manage IT Interns when active at TBC

· Maintain relationships with ETBC online hosting services such as FastDomain, BlueHost, Vimeo, Livestream, Vimeo, The Church Online, etc.

· Monitor and report streaming services traffic metrics

· Support the Director of Information Technologies' plans, initiatives, goals, and objectives

Preferred Qualifications

· Associates degree related to Technology, Audio-Video Technology, or related job experience

· two years of experience in Internet Streaming and Broadcasts with evidence of Technology Support.

· Expert knowledge of Internet Browsers, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and Internet Streaming Software platforms.

· Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills

· Excellent content creation and writing skills

· Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Work Conditions

· On-call availability and support evening and weekend duties may be required

· Position based in Philadelphia, Pa, and primary work location is in the Mt. Airy section, but work may also be required to support the Germantown location
