Responsibilities
•
Reporting to the Executive Director of Mission Advancement, this position will oversee the coordination of Advancement's social and fundraising events from conception to execution
•
This position will also have the opportunity to write and prepare grant applications to secure funds that advance the mission of Roman Catholic High School
•
Serve as the lead event planner for the Mission Advancement Office:
•
negotiate with vendors, book and set up event spaces, arrange food and beverage, order event materials, and ensure appropriate d cor (florals, linens, color schemes, etc
•
) to provide an overall quality event experience
•
Conduct event research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities
•
Create and revise room layouts for each event
•
Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events, as necessary
•
Prepare event invitations, nametags, materials, programs, registration lists, seating charts, etc
•
Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting
•
Write and prepare grant applications aimed at securing funds to assist Roman and its students
•
Collaborate and work with the Executive Director to support and improve development efforts
•
Other duties as assigned
•
This position requires some local and regional travel for alumni events
•
Some events may require work hours outside the business day or on weekends
Benefits
•
SALARY This is a 12-month, part-time position (19 hours/week)
•
Salary is commensurate with experience
•
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
