The Director, Marketing and Communications (Client Management) reports to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications and takes overall responsibility and accountability for the direction and delivery of highly engaging and impactful marketing and communications strategies that support organizational goals and the supporting objectives of internal client accounts.

What you will do:
Help build and design the marketing and communications client management model, providing effective leadership, coaching and feedback to the team that will serve as the primary point of contact for internal client accounts.
Direct the development and tactical implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans that support the identified business goals and objectives of client accounts.
Lead the delivery of cross-functional collaboration that ensures client requests are aligned with organizational and strategic priorities.
Direct the day-to-day strategic management and fulfillment of marketing and communications requests in collaboration with the Brand Management and Creative Services team.
Ensure high-level strategic alignment across business units by guiding and directing a regular cadence of core team meetings that include client groups, business partners and assigned marketing and communications team members.

What you need to succeed in the role:
An ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and customer-focus.
5-7 years working as a marketing and communications account manager or client services manager in an agency, healthcare, or consulting environment.
Experience in corporate internal communications.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan, and execute multiple, complex projects.
Exceptional relationship building and negotiation skills.
An ability to adapt to changing priorities, effectively manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities.
An ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.
An ability to understand the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian church (U.S.A.) and the nature and expectation of the membership with the capability to translate this understanding into working knowledge of projects and deliverables.
An ability, interest and desire to stay current via seminars, industry literature, and formal training and development.
An ability to effectively work remotely utilizing an uninterrupted internet connection, as required.
