SS. John Neumann & Maria Goretti Catholic High School (SNG) seeks an experienced admissions professional to manage all aspects of the SNG enrollment process. The Director of Enrollment Management will have an entrepreneurial spirit to attract new prospects and must have a customer-centered approach to achieve enrollment goals. The Admissions Director will oversee the admissions team and will provide SNG leadership with regular updates of actions, progress, data reports, and detailed analysis of local and national enrollment trends. This position reports directly to the school president.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the School President and Principal, the Director of Enrollment Management implements a comprehensive Enrollment and Admissions Marketing plan. This includes but is not limited to:

Admissions:

● Identify and cultivate relationship throughout the city of Philadelphia

● Establish short and long-range goals and objectives. This includes, but is not limited to:

o Manage the admissions team to efficiently and effectively support enrollment objectives

o In collaboration with the school president, prepare and present annual

enrollment and marketing goals/plans

o Identify and optimize opportunities throughout the community that have potential to support enrollment goals

o Interact regularly and warmly communicate with prospective families to assist their journey through each stage of the admission process

o Demonstrate expert level knowledge of the SNG community, accomplishments, policies, and plans for the future

o Meet with prospective students & families, offer personalized tours, coordinate shadow days and student interviews

o Coordinate all admissions events including: walk-throughs, open house, accepted student events, & 7th grade visitation day

o Process all applications from initial inquiry through final enrollment decision using the School Admin platform

o Support families through the acceptance and enrollment process

o Welcome new families to SS John Neumann & Maria Goretti High School

Outreach:

● Collaborate with school minister for all parish partner (grade school) outreach and summer programs

● Collaborate with the school president to examine effectiveness of all marketing efforts ∙ Regularly communicate with partner schools and local athletic programs

● Represent SNG at local high school nights, visits to middle schools and PREP programs

● Give detailed presentations in a variety of settings and group sizes answering questions

● regarding school atmosphere/culture, admissions process, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, etc. from students and parents.

● Explain and continue to shape admission, tuition assistance and scholarship procedures/policies.

● Prioritize relationships with principals at partner schools

Retention

● Develop and manage systems for tracking attrition

● Use data on attrition to make recommendations for improving the educational product offer by SNG

● Conduct exit interviews with students and families

Additional Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with Office of Catholic Education (OCE) in planning and efforts, as appropriate; provide required reports to OCE; attend meetings and training opportunities throughout the year.

● Serve as a member of the school’s scholarship/financial aid team

● All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience in admissions/recruitment in an educational setting is required. All required clearances and Safe Environment Certification and official transcripts will be required before employment can begin.
