Position: Director of Parish Services
The Director of Parish Services is a full-time, twelve-month position which includes some nights and weekends. Candidate must be a fully-initiated and practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. The Director of Parish Services reports directly to the pastor.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Parish registrations
- Baptism preparation
- Overseeing liturgical ministries and ministers
- RCIA
- Preparation for Adults who need to complete Sacraments of Initiation
- Organizing outreach to those in need
- Conduct Communion Services for elderly at local institutions
- Visiting the sick and homebound
- Conduct Vigil Prayer Services for the Deceased
- Conduct Committal Services
- Bereavement Coordinator
- Serve as a member of the Parish Pastoral Staff and Parish Pastoral Council
Education: Minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's Degree in Theology, Religious Studies or an acceptable equivalent
Professional Experience: Preferably but not limited to a religious education or teaching background.
