Full Job Description
Responsibilities
Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing them
Maintain and clean windows, window sills, doorways and walls, clean, sanitize touched surfaces
Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling
Clean, sanitize, and supply bathrooms
Clean and service custodial equipment as needed
Perform minor repairs on furniture, buildings, and equipment
Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department
Lock and unlock windows, doors, and gates
Ensure grounds areas are clean, free of debris and orderly
Respond to classroom and convent emergencies throughout the day
Other duties requested by Administration
Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs, as well as, painting, plastering, carpentry and cement work
Physically capable of shoveling and plowing snow, may include earlier and/or later hours and weekends, will be compensated for extra hours
Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License , able to drive pick-up truck for plowing
Provide clear FBI, PA Criminal background, and Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearances, and fulfill Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements
