- MATH – Algebra, Geometry, and Trig/Pre-Calculus, Calculus
- SCIENCE – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- SOCIAL STUDIES
- SPECIAL EDUCATION
- WORLD LANGUAGES – Italian and Spanish
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHER:
- Prepare and deliver engaging and structured lectures to students
- Teach courses, utilizing curriculum designated by AOP High Schools
- Collaborate with other teachers to create course materials
- Develop in each student an understanding of subject concepts
- Adapt materials and methods to develop assignments and lesson plans that guide and challenge students
- Monitor students’ development
- Ensure compliance with school policies, regulations and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university for teaching positions.
Theology teachers must have course credits from a Catholic college or university.
Pennsylvania Teacher Certification is preferred.
All clearances and Safe Environment Training are required to be current for hiring.
