Full Job Description

What you will do:
Execute effective and clear writing for various print and digital channels, including publications, mailers, email, websites, and presentations.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team members to ensure deliverables support organizational goals and objectives of internal client accounts.
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality across all marketing and communications materials while adhering to Board’s messaging and style guides.
Proofread materials prepared by team members and design concepts as needed.

What you need to succeed in the role:
Versatile writing style with ability to create technical and promotional content that engages audiences and prompts action.
Ability to write content that supports fundraising and stewardship.
Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt messaging platforms for various collateral.
A high level of creativity, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills.
Superior communication and relationship-building skills with clients, members, senior management, and vendors.
Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to work on multiple assignments.
Ability, interest, and desire to stay current via seminars, industry literature, and formal training and development.
Ability to understand the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian church (U.S.A.) and the nature and expectation of the membership with the capability to translate this understanding into working knowledge of projects and deliverables.
