The Onboarding Lead reports to the Assistant Director, Implementation & Continuous Improvement and ensures the successful onboarding and implementation of new employer clients into the Board’s Service Delivery Model. This individual executes the business strategy by working closely with new employers and internal partners to develop and implement customized processes and procedures, while identifying related training and education needs to ensure a seamless transition through implementation.

What you will do:
Execute the business strategy by working closely with new employers and internal partners to develop and implement customized processes and procedures, while identifying related training and education needs to ensure a seamless transition through implementation.
Ensure the client experience is efficient and exceeds expectations by updating the Retirement Savings Plan onboarding process for employers.
Establish a deep familiarity with the Benefits Plan and an understanding of client needs to carefully align and deliver existing communications content for a tailored onboarding experience.
Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement and Customer Engagement teams and applicable internal/external stakeholders to flawlessly execute implementations.
Serve as a business consultant, providing innovative, continuous improvement solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
Provide support for Annual Enrollment season as needed as it relates to key accounts’ benefit presentations.
Provide support for Continuous Improvement special projects as needed.

What you need to succeed in the role:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, field-related, work experience.
5 years demonstrated experience in a benefits administration systems and/or human resources operations capacity.
Demonstrated success managing implementation of new business initiatives.
Demonstrated project management skills and an ability to develop strategies to solve complex problems.
Ability to facilitate effective meetings and attain buy-in from key stakeholders.
An ability to self-manage to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring quick turnaround and quality output.
An ability to identify and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows and improve the implementation process.
Exceptional oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
An ability to work well with diverse groups and all levels of management, including functional teams throughout the Board – IT, Communications, Marketing, Growth Strategies and Benefits teams.
An ability, interest and desire to stay current via seminars, industry literature, and formal training and development.
