Qualifications
•
skilled pianist, with at least some experience playing piano for group/congregational singing
•
basic familiarity and experience with sacred/church music
Responsibilities
•
expressed support of the overall mission and values of the congregation
•
commitment to inclusive/expansive language with musical offerings
•
provide musical accompaniment for Sunday hybrid worship (hours: approximately 10:45 am to 12:45 pm); note that worship is currently virtual-only the last Sunday of every month
•
select/provide “special music” offering for weekly worship, in consultation and cooperation with volunteer choir coordinator and small Calvary choir
•
weekly communication/meeting with the pastor to coordinate music for worship (in person or virtual)
•
2-3 hours per week, primarily (if not entirely) on Sundays
