JOB SUMMARY: The Safe House Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of programs and staff involved in direct service to survivors of domestic abuse. This includes the Safe House and the 24-hour Hotline.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversight of 24-hour hotline; Safe House case management activities; resident education/support groups, and advocacy; for the Safe House clients
Ensure 24-hour Safe House coverage
Provide direct services to residential clients when applicable
Direct supervision of Case Aides, Subs, and Case Managers
Review or produce statistical and/or program reports monthly, quarterly or annually as required
Interview prospective staff; train newly hired staff; complete staff evaluations
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for client files
Participate in program development, evaluation and planning
Coordinate training opportunities for Safe House staff as appropriate
Complete monthly report for Program Supervisor
On-call responsibilities
Serve on Catholic Charities committees as needed
