This position is full-time and its primary purpose is to provide administrative support to the Pastor. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is necessary. Familiarity with Parish Data Systems (PDS) is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain Pastor's calendar
  • Screen Pastor's phone calls to analyze needs and then re-direct or schedule appointment with Pastor
  • Coordinate Liturgical Calendar annually for inclusion in the parish Facilities Scheduler
  • Prepare for meetings
  • Schedule off campus requests for anointings
  • Coordinate pastor's schedule with Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School
  • Produce Celebrant and Assistant schedule bi-monthly
  • Find Clergy to assist with parish needs, as necessary
  • Work with Brides to prepare for their weddings
  • Prepare Archdiocesan Reports
  • Coordinate funerals
  • Schedule new parish registrations
  • Assist the Pastor with Church Environment for Holydays and Sacraments as well as Advent and Lenten seasons. This includes ordering flowers, set up, maintenance and clean up (which involves work outside normal business hours)
  • Prepare the ministry schedule bi-monthly and order materials necessary for the various ministries
  • Maintain PDS - the Parish Census Database
  • Assist other Pastoral Staff as needed
  • Other duties as requested of the Pastor
