Full Job Description

The Senior Information Management Analyst reports to the Vice President, Pricing, Analytics & Integration and is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating operational processes to ensure member benefits data integrity for purposes of eligibility, systems maintenance, report generation, vendor interaction, and financial reconciliation. This individual coordinates and oversees standard and ad hoc eligibility data transfers to all external Benefits Team vendors, provides oversight of exception and financial control reporting for vendors, and is the functional lead for design and verification activities for all technical changes to vendor interface files owned by the Benefits Team. The Senior Information Management Analyst works closely with other Information Analysts and the Benefits, Finance, and Plan Operations teams to coordinate and execute critical annual processes including the Pension Valuation, Apportionment, and Salary Study. This individual also generates monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports as necessary and provides management with operational reports and insight on the use of the reports for plan design and strategic decision making.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses

a bachelor’s degree in data analysis, finance, or a related field;
3-6 years of experience with enterprise and health data intelligence solutions, PeopleSoft experience a plus;
understanding of benefits eligibility maintenance processes;
understanding of data and system validation methods;
knowledge of report writing tools and concepts;
understanding of medical plan design and self-funding concepts, defined benefit retirement plan experience a plus;
demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Access, Excel, Word, and other software packages applicable to data collection and analysis; and
the ability to effectively work remotely utilizing an uninterrupted internet connection, as required.
