Full Job Description

The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is seeking a successful and proven leader to join its team as Vice President, Health and Well-Being. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Benefits Officer, the Vice President of Health and Well-Being has overall responsibility for the design and management of plans and programs that impact the health and well-being of members, retirees and their families, and reflect the underlying Theology of Benefits and the Board’s culture of wholeness. These plans include Medical, Retiree Medical, Prescription Drug, EAP, Dental, Vision, and Well-being. Today, the Board of Pensions serves approximately 65,000 individuals and at the end of 2020, reported total assets of over $12 billion.

Qualifications:
Thought leader with demonstrated expertise in management and oversight of healthcare benefits and deep understanding of national trends in healthcare delivery systems and wellness.
Knowledge and experience managing self-funded plans.
Innovative leader and strategic thinker with experience in researching, promoting and adopting solutions that reflect well-articulated service, quality and health impact objectives.
Active and respected leader in national industry groups and organizations.
Executive level leadership presence and experience in change management.
Effective team leader, with ability to develop, engage and motivate staff.
Excellent relationship skills and proven ability to build rapport at all levels, including with Board of Directors, C-Suite and key business partners.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
