All Peoples Church (APC) holds a fellowship for college students aged 18 to 25 every Wednesday night at Moniker Warehouse Downtown.

The church’s website announced that students from various schools participate in the gathering. It includes SDSU, PLNU, and UCSD schools.

Besides, All Peoples Church announced that they also host all-church worship and prayer nights at their worship center once a month.

College Movement

According to another section, College Movement is a ministry at APC that desires to change the hearts of university students toward God and other people.

They emphasized that the program for college students could help them discover more about Jesus as they have fun connecting with others.

Through the College Movement, they claimed students could establish friendships and enjoy food fellowships, as noted on the website.

Reaching Out to College Students

The Collegiate Collective website noted why churches must reach out to university students. The first factor they explained is that there are a lot of college learners in the country. As further revealed, there are over 18 million learners in universities in America.

The website said that number is a “people group,” which should be a place for mission within a short distance of the church.

In addition, they exposed that college students are in their crucial stage of life. The website stated they are curious, open, and have many questions. They added that students are often prone to theories and world perspectives other than Christian beliefs at this stage.

The Collegiate Collective emphasized that if churches could connect to college students while they were still open, the church could change their lives forever.

Awakening with College students

The same website stated that God often started to awaken people during their college years. They revealed that God worked at places such as Hampden-Sydney College and Williams College in the Second Great Awakening.

In addition, they mentioned that in this college, the “Haystack meeting” happened. Also, the website states that college students at Asbury College in Kentucky started the revival in 1970. They noted that the encounter occurred on various campuses in America.

More importantly, the website believed that God might start enlightenment through other college students the church reaches.

College Students' Potential

According to Collegiate Collective, over one million international learners go to colleges and universities in America. They explained that most of them are open to discussing religious beliefs.

Moreover, they said that some of these students from other countries had their first encounter hearing the gospel on their university campus.

Besides, they highlighted that college students could do great things out of their passion when they obey the Lord. The website explained that when they genuinely know God, they would discover more about His Word and pursue righteousness.

The website also emphasized that this kind of passion from college students is what the church needs.

In addition, they noted that university students are willing to help those in need. They said these students do not care if they get dirty in the ministry.
