Arise Christian Church started a new group designed for its young people to study the book of Philippians on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The church’s Facebook page announced that it will be a six-week class, focusing on being joyful no matter where they are in their journey.
It mentioned that there would be a simultaneous group study for both men and women. The church asked its parent members to bring their youth to the church, so they could also learn.
Growing Together
The Arise Christian Church website stated that they have various groups for members to see which group would be appropriate for them. They explained that they have teams for married couples, men, women, young adults, and teenagers.
Moreover, they explained that these groups gather once a week for an hour to thirty minutes to deepen and mature their spiritual life.
The church emphasized that attending Arise groups is a short-term commitment of members, but it could have a long-term effect on their spiritual growth.
Fourth Session
The same website announced that Arise Christian Church started the group's session four. On the church’s website, members could register which group they prefer. They included each schedule of meeting for the groups.
Group for Young Adults
One group intended for young individuals is the Group for Young Adults, led by Pastor Ryan Moore. They began their group gathering on Tuesday, Oct. 25, as posted on the website.
In this group, they explained that it would be a study to enlighten young adults to understand God’s character and ways. The group would also help them know themselves more as they have a deeper and more personal relationship with God.
More importantly, the website emphasized that this relationship would allow young adults to be confident to rely on God’s strength in most of their challenging situations.
Meanwhile, another group of young people will meet every Wednesday to have an intensive study on the book of Philippians, as explained on the website.
Men’s Group
The men's group would meet on Mondays, as mentioned on the website. As further explained, they would be discussing past and present happenings from a truthful Biblical view. During their gathering, group members could share their experiences and pray together.
Besides, the church stressed that attending this group meeting could empower the men to live a victorious Christian lifestyle. They could be motivated to live out God’s word with the help of the Holy Spirit, as added on the website.
Moreover, another group is designed for male church members, wherein they will gather every Wednesday. This group will focus on helping men to know their identity in Jesus. The website said, they will learn their vital role and calling here on earth.
Women’s Group
As for the group for women, the church announced that Jennifer Moore would lead the team and would meet every Wednesday evening. They explained that female members would walk through the book of Philippians.
They noted that they would learn to be joyful in difficult situations.
