Arise Christian Church to serve ice cream on social event for female members

Arise Christian Church invites its female members to join their fellowship at the "Women's Ice Cream Social" on Aug. 19, Friday, at 6:30 p.m.

The church’s Facebook announcement posted that the event would be a chance to spend time together and have fun while having ice cream. They added it is an excellent opportunity to socialize.

Arise Christian Church also encouraged its members to invite their friends.

As further announced, they would also provide non-dairy options for everyone.

Arise Group for Women

Led by Pat Perkins, the women Arise Church started gathering on Aug. 3, Wednesday, according to the Group’s Section. This meeting would be every Wednesday, as added on the website. 

As further explained, groups at Arise Church meet weekly around San Diego. This activity is designed to establish a Christ-Centered Community among the church’s members.

Also, groups are gathering to help them mature in their relationships with God. 

The website also posted that groups at Arise Church are intended for members to serve God and its people. 

Other Groups at Arise Christian Church

The website posted that the church provides various teams so those interested could find the one suitable for their needs. Some groups mentioned are general, men, women, and young adult groups. 

Besides, Arise Christian Church also has groups intended for married couples and youth, as further noted on the website.

In addition, the website informed those interested in joining any groups to sign up. Then, they added that the chosen team leader would contact them. The leader would tell them about the place and address all concerns they may have about the said group.

The church also noted that groups gather once every week for 60-90 minutes. They added that it is a short-term devotion that could give members of the groups a long-lasting influence on their spiritual maturity.

Moreover, the church announced that Session three started in the first week of August this year.

Family Church

The Crossmap News website reported that at Arise Christian Church, they treat each other as a family in the church. As further stated, the church loves God and its community. 

They noted that members at Arise Church are comprised of people who are new followers of God and His ways. Some members have connected with Jesus for a long time, as mentioned on the website.

Despite where they are in their journey as Christians, the website mentioned that members have fun growing together in friendship with God and each other.

At Arise Christian Church, understanding their value to God and the church is significant for each member and leader, as revealed on the news. As further explained, the congregation prayed that He would add their numbers to the church: men, women, and families.   

In addition, members asked God that these individuals who want to do great things would work with the church to share the Gospel in San Diego and the nations.

Firm Belief in Jesus

The Crossmaps news also revealed that Arise Church is a firm believer in Jesus Christ. They noted that members believe that Jesus is ultimately God and man. Arise Church thinks that Jesus is the Savior. 

The news revealed that members at Arise Christian Church also think Jesus never sinned while living as a human being on earth.

The website stressed that Arise Church suffered on the cross but rose again and returned to heaven.
