Redeemer’s Grace Church is set to hold a Women’s Fellowship on how women can find comfort in the church on Sunday, August 14, at 11 a.m. after the church’s service.

The church’s Instagram post highlighted that women could know how God has given sisters so they could be with them in their happy and difficult moments. As further noted, belonging to a church gives comfort and joy to individuals.

Besides, the post mentioned that Alyssa, one of the women at Redeemer’s, would lead her first Women’s Fellowship lesson about the Scripture from Acts 2: 46-47.

In the said Bible verse, it is written that church members at that time continuously gathered in the church in one mind, breaking the bread from each house and then sharing meals. In the same scripture, they noted that they are meeting joyfully and sincerely to worship God.

They added that God was pleased with their activities, so He said their numbers daily and saved people.

Women’s Fellowship

The church holds gathering for women as part of the Redeemer’s Women’s ministry. According to the women's fellowship page, this fellowship is intended to study a teaching series where ladies learn from God’s Word.

The section posted that this ladies' meeting is an opportunity to have fun building biblical relationships with one another. According to them, Women at Redeemer’s would study lessons focused on their theme “Finding True Comfort” this summer.

They added that it would be a “sweet time learning together from God’s word about true comfort.”

The church noted that participants would discover they could find their comfort in God in these lessons. Women would learn that God could give them firm hope, peace, and joy.

It also claimed that there are times when people seek comfort in the wrong things, like in their situations or themselves.

The website stressed that seeking comfort in other things could lead individuals to have “ungodly emotions.”  Also, they could not experience genuine happiness and became anxious and unsatisfied.

In line with this, through these study series, the women at Redeemer’s want to assist ladies in understanding true, eternal comfort. They want them to know the source of everything.

Recap of First Fellowship

The same website revealed that Sabrina, one of Redeemer’s Women, shared during the first fellowship on July 10, Sunday. Her teaching centers on telling that God is the source of comfort.

As further explained, God wants His people to rely on His Word, His promises, and prayer so they can find comfort. Sabrina also mentioned that God does not want His people to suffer in life’s challenges but to depend on His love and mercy.

During the fellowship, women also learned that their shortcomings could not take away the love of God, as written in Romans 8:31-32. Sabrina encouraged women at Redeemer’s to pray earnestly and trust that God would “provide perfectly” according to His will in every circumstance.

More importantly, she stressed how comforting it is to know that they should not be anxious when they fail or when situations seem difficult. It is because they can always depend on God of all comfort, who is able and eternal, as stated on the website.
