Awaken Church hosts Sunday event for kids at

Awaken Church hosted an event for children with the theme "Crazy Hat Day" on Sunday, Aug. 28, at all campuses.

On their Facebook page, they said that children created unique hats for the event.

Awaken Kidz

According to the church’s website; Awaken Church desires to work with parents in their children’s upbringing. They want to develop a generation of kids filled with faith, hope, and love, as mentioned on the website.

Awaken Kidz emphasized, “Empowering world-changes in the emerging generation.”

As further explained, the programs of Awaken Church for children protect them from the advancing generation. They noted that it is their honor to reach out to kids to have a relationship with God.

As added on the website, they said they are training them on the path they should take. They want to see these children remember their teachings as adults.

The church also stated that they take every opportunity to share the gospel with the kids at Awaken. They conduct effective weekend services designed for kids. The church said that they disciple the children at Awaken Kidz.

The Awaken Kidz website said they hold daily praise, worship, and interactive programs for the children.

Fun, Secure

The same website posted that the church is working hard to make every activity as fun as possible. The Awaken Kidz think that making church fun for kids may affect them as adults. They said they could enjoy going to the house of God when they grew up.

The church seeks to make a children’s program “larger than life” so their young members will forever value the church in their hearts.

As for their security, Awaken Church stressed that it is their topmost priority. As further explained on the website, they have high-security qualifications as the children enter and check out of their facilities.

Besides, the church mentioned that all their staff handling the children undergo training and background checks. They said they wanted to ensure kids were cared for and in safe hands.

As further posted, the church wants parents and the whole family to feel secure as they teach their children. They assure parents they can be confident in letting their team handle their children while they experience an enjoyable life at Awaken Kidz.

Other Programs

Aside from nurturing the children, the Awaken Kidz posted that they also have programs designed for nursing mothers. Every campus, according to its website, has room for nursing mothers.

The church recognizes that it is a transition for women to become mothers, so they want to help at their convenience. They created space for nursing mothers so they could still be connected in the church, as the website added.

More importantly, at Awaken Kidz, they offer child dedications. They said that dedicating a child happens if parents proclaim that they want to work with the church to raise their child. The website explains that the Awaken Church hosts children's dedications monthly at each campus.

Awaken Church also has three categories for their children's ministry to cater to the needs of different age groups.
