Awaken Church to guest Pastor Ryan Gilbank at 'Shredder Wednesday'

Awaken Church will welcome Pastor Ryan Gilbank, pastor of The Lighthouse Church’s Inner City, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, during the Shredder Wednesday at the Balboa Campus.

The church’s Facebook page announced they also hold a water baptism during the event. They posted that Gilbank is a builder of men and families and owns a few businesses. 

Besides, they highlighted that he married his school sweetheart, and God blessed them with two sons.

About Ryan Gilbank

The Midcity Church website revealed that Gilbank is a talented and motivational speaker. They added that he is an extraordinary minister and businessman in the mining sector. 

They mentioned that he has a strong foundation in the church and business world that helps him to share practical ways to train God’s church and people. 

Gilbank speaks with a prophetic power that nurtures people daily so God can work in them, as further stated on the website. 

Moreover, the church said that Gilbert operates three businesses, with one having a turnover in above $10 million. They emphasized that he supervises over 80 workers and needs to deal with groups in corporate and nonprofit groups. 

They explained that Gilbank would help all aspects of life, such as family, health, and business.

Loving Personal Impact

In his interview on the People Keys website, Gilbank stated that he loves his message's personal effect on people that affects their work. He added that he works with office teams and likes to see people know themselves and those around them.

Gilbank mentioned that he feels better whenever he can explain that understanding others should not be upsetting, but they could have a different approach.

Moreover, he noted that his learnings and experiences prepared him for his coaching career. Gilbank revealed that  he had done everything from sweeping floors to supervising numerous offices, teams, and levels

He emphasized that the key to everything is understanding people. 

Greatest Challenges

The website revealed that Gilbank experienced obstacles while he was starting his career as an independent coach. He noted that he believed there were three most significant challenges to overcome.

He first mentioned having enough budget for himself and his family for six months. He added that he needs to have the high-level experience to become an independent coach. 

In addition, Gilbank admitted that he had difficulties listening to those younger than him who completed the course, but they inspired him. 

Lastly, he noted the last challenge of becoming an independent coach is himself. He emphasized that people should not try to be someone they are not. He explained that no one wants fake people, and others could discern those who are not real. 

DISC Behavioral Analysis

In Gilbank’s interview, he stated that they mainly use DISC Behavioral Analysis as part of Communitation Enhancement training. He said that this tool helps their clients understand their groups, allowing them to best connect and engage for the best results.

Moreover, he said they recently started using the 3D Online Report and discovered that it has a significant hit for the immediate delivery and follow-up capabilities.
