Revé Church held its Christmas offering, a year-end offering, on Sunday, Dec. 18.

The church’s Facebook page noted they are making big plans for 2023 and encouraged its members to participate in the event. They explained that their generous donor would match their offering to $20,000 in December.

In addition, Revé Church hoped the monetary offering would help them prepare for a better 2023. The church acknowledged the generosity of its members and wished them a joyful new year.

Christmas Offering

The church’s website said they want to thank those supporting their Christmas Offering initiatives. They stated that these financial gifts have helped them create more opportunities for people to know the life-giving message of Jesus.

Besides, they added that the church could gather and worship in the community. Also, through these donations, they could serve their city in practical ways, as noted on the website.

Revé Church highlighted that they started serving people and families affected by COVID-19 through their food outreach in 2020. The church emphasized that this effort is their first achievement for their Christmas Offering.

As further explained, the church has given away more than five million pounds of food with the Reve Truck and Dream Team volunteers. They said that they could distribute this food when there was a great need due to the impact of the pandemic and the inflation rate.

Celebrating Achievements

The same website stressed that the church had re-launch its Brand New Performing Arts Center through donations. They said they opened doors again in August 2021 and hoisted their first Easter Services with 200 attendees in April 2022.

Moreover, the church mentioned that they could join the Fall Festival in the Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch. The outreach event allowed them to connect with more than 600 families during the four-hour program, as revealed on the website.

More importantly, the website stresses that they had the privilege to baptize six individuals from their community in Del Mar in 2022 as they publicly proclaimed their faith in Jesus. The church said that they were amazed at what God has been doing through the church.

Starting 2023

Pastor Todd and Shannon Phelps emphasized that their Christmas Offering this year aims to continue investing in worship and children as they welcome 2023.

They informed members that their participation in the program could help the church start the new year strong. It would also allow them to continue reaching the next generation and helping their community in practical ways, as further noted on the website.

The pastors of Reve Church thanked the congregation for their continued cheerfulness and faithfulness in giving. They added that they anticipate creating the future as they unite for the Christmas Offering.

The website quoted the Scripture from Ephesians 3:20, which says not to question God’s mighty power to work in someone and fulfill everything. They added that God would achieve infinitely more than one’s most excellent petition and unimaginable dream.

In the Scripture, they emphasized that God could go beyond their wildest imagination.
