Awaken Church will hold the Emerge Night, a night fellowship, for its male members on Thursday, Jan.19, at Balboa and San Marcos Campuses.

The church’s Facebook page announced that Pastor Luke and Tommy Barnett would be their guest speaker for the evening.

Emerge Night

The church’s website mentions that the event is designed to train and guide to become leaders. They explained that they hold brotherhood and discipleship. Also, they use materials of their faith to impact their families, communities, and the county.

Moreover, they stated that Emerge Night would be the training ground to take a step toward greatness. They said that whether they are motivated to influence the marketplace or have the heart to use their voice to reach out to their peers.

Emerge Men

The men’s section noted that Emerge men are the program of Awaken Church for their male members. They seek to connect men whom God called for greatness.

In addition, as part of this men’s program, they promise to use the gifts given to them to secure, honor and provide for their families. They added that they would stay disciplined in their faith and create a legacy.

More importantly, as a member of Emerge men, they promise to lead in the battle. They added that just like an iron that sharpens another iron, they would do everything to build up their fellow brother.

They noted that they would strengthen them to reach his full potential. They emphasized that they wanted to become the man that would move mountains.

Prayer Meetings for Men

In another section, the Awaken Church noted that they don’t see prayer meetings as another religious activity. They emphasized that they see prayer meetings as a real fuel room of the church that reveals the vision, mission, and culture of their church.

Awaken Church offers opportunities for men and women to pray together every week.

Emerge Men gathers every Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. to pray at the Balboa Campus, as mentioned on the website.

According to the church’s website, there are also prayer meetings at the North, Eastlake, East, and SLC campuses.

As for women’s prayer gatherings, they posted that they meet every Tuesday morning and evening. As added on the website, they also gather at various campuses, such as Balboa, North, and South.

Book of Miracles

The same website noted that members could give their prayer requests by filling out The Book of Miracles, a booklet for prayer requests. They added that they could submit the booklet in their weekend service.

Moreover, the church stated that the entire congregation would pray for the submitted requests. They said that they are looking forward to waiting with the members about how God would answer these prayers.

In addition, they believe that God would move miraculously through each submitted booklet.

They highlighted the Scripture from Matthew 21:22, which says, “Whatever thing you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Also, they noted the Scripture from 1 John 5:15 that says since God’s people know that He hears them when they make their request, they also know that he would give them what they ask for.
