Reaching the Hungry
According to its website, Reaching the Hungry believes that local ministries are the best way to reach physically and spiritually hungry people around the globe. The organization is committed to supporting missionaries.
The support is intended to maximize opportunities and impact. Reaching the Hungry makes this possible through three ways: Equip, Empower, and Encourage.
It equips local ministries by providing strategies and capital, enabling missionaries to become self–sufficient and efficient. Additionally, it empowers them through training and tools, allowing them to operate fruitful ministries.
Finally, Reaching the Hungry provides spiritual and emotional encouragement, ensuring missionaries remain ready to serve.
According to its website, the organization would not exist if there were no volunteers and support from others. They play a vital role in the success of Reaching the Hungry.
Volunteers and others can help the organization in these three ways:
- Give – Everyone addresses missionaries' physical and spiritual needs and those they serve through giving and encouraging others to give.
- Go – When individuals work alongside missionaries, they show God's love.
- Grow – When one joins Reaching the Hungry, they strive for spiritual growth in unity with the entire Church, bearing in mind that Jesus is the foundation of relationships.
