Members of Calvary San Diego look forward to traveling to Hawassa, Ethiopia, with the Ebenezer Family of homes from June 8 to June 17.
The orphanage ministry helps around 100 children, the church’s announcement said. They also mentioned that the said trip would focus on ministering to the kids and staff at the orphanage. They would also assist with smaller building projects. They believe that this would bless the facility and those living in it.
They added that the directors, Argaw and Rachel Ayele, are good friends of Pastor Phil and supported church missionaries.
They announced that the average cost of the trip would be $2000, including all ground transportation, flights, and food in Ethiopia. The fee would also cover their lodging, supplies, and activities.
The church also reminded those interested to prepare their valid passport for at least six months after the end of the trip. They added that Pastor Carlos Kalcsuk and Joy Metzger would lead the trip.
They also noted that once the Pastoral staff has approved the application, members would need to make an initial deposit of $200 for the slot reservation. They said it is non-refundable.

Hence, the Ebenezer Child Care Trust continues its community's vital work. They intend to provide the tools needed to give every child in their care the chance to live a better life.
They desire the Ebenezer Children’s Home could redeem and raise more orphans from the poorest villages in Livingstone, Zambia. They mentioned that they wanted their facilities to be developed to give the kids a primary level of comfort and safety.
More importantly, they envision having enough financial resources. So they could continue giving the learners a high-quality education and healthy meals daily. They want all graduating eighth-grade students to pass their proficiency tests to have the financial aid to enroll and complete their high school.
They also wanted to broaden their outreach in the future. So they could include sponsorship of qualified Ebenezer graduates through their college education.
