As part of the Canyon Ridge Baptist Church's ministry, they are partnering with the Trail Life San Diego to develop the character and leadership of their boys.

The church website noted that children are loved at Canyon Ridge. They said that kids would have fun and learn about Jesus.

The same website noted that the church highlights a huge nursery ideally designed for the kid’s needs. The staff is loving members of their church family who have been trained especially for handling children. The church also mentioned that they check all the backgrounds of their team.

Besides, their nursery has specialized structures for activities and learning. Also, the facility is for free play and socialization. They informed parents that they must sign in and out of their kids when they go to the nursery.

The place is open during all scheduled services.

Meanwhile, Super Church is designed for children’s classes for the elementary school-aged. This program is to help them learn and prepare for a life in Christ. The church said they do their goal through games, activities, and centered Biblical teaching. They mentioned that their workers are also church members. These workers have the training and have passed the comprehensive background requirement.

Aside from the church programs during services, according to the Trail Life San Diego website, their troops operate as a ministry of Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in Linda Vista. They gather weekly to provide many opportunities for service within their neighborhood. They also used this as an opportunity for fellowship through outdoor adventures and programs.

The said program also conducts discipleship to build the kids’ faith firmly founded in Christ. The website noted that boys enjoy the adventure, and parents like the dedication to a Christian worldview and maturing young boys into godly men.

In line with this, the Trail Life USA website revealed that it is a church-based, Christ-centered mentoring program focusing on boys. They also concentrate on the discipleship walk that speaks to a boy's heart.

The website added that boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are part of a Troop setting by male coaches. These mentors challenged these boys to mature in character and understand their purpose.

These kids also serve in their neighborhood and enhance their practical leadership skills to do the mission they are designed to do.

More importantly, they posted that there are about 40,000 members of the said program in over 900 troops in all 50 states in the U.S.

Let Boys be Boys

Many boys turn to virtual worlds of television, video games, digital media, and the internet to find realms they can overpower and areas they can excel, as posted in the Mentoring section.

They noted that these activities result in virtual conquest, which is often an apparent rebellion or resistance to reality.

They said Trail Life USA is an environment where boys work hard. They are engaged in real-world obstacles that could enhance their skills and learn character and leadership realistically.
