In local, the support of members allows them to share God’s love in a tangible process by providing for the needs of individuals in the communities of San Diego.

LoveActs Goal this Year

They aim to distribute 100 tons of food in 2022.

With this project, they said that the LoveActs could expand their area to receive donations from local partners. This project could also install a food preparation space, as posted on the report.

The church also asks members to pray about their role and join them in giving hope and healing to the world. They could be part of this effort by praying, joining the Lovacts team, and providing their support.

Love Acts

According to the Love Acts section on the church’s website, they believe that being a believer and a follower of Jesus means they must act on their love.

They should not just say it in words but actually show individuals that they love them by helping and serving them in practical ways.

They added that the LoveActs ministry area is their way of providing for the needs of their local community while showing them how it feels to be loved by God.

The said ministry works with individuals, groups, and businesses around their neighborhoods.

The said ministry covers food distribution, where they collaborate with food organizations to provide free food once a month. The San Diego Food Bank, Feeding San Diego, and My211 Force are some of their partners.

They also include outreach for the homeless. Also, the LoveActs team provides a tutoring ministry at Walker Elementary, which is currently on hold due to the pandemic.

As for environmental concerns, the team encourages the congregation to save their bottles and cans and bring them to church every last weekend of the month. They sell these recyclable materials to add to the LoveActs ministry's funds.
