Community Bible Church (CBC) invited its male members to attend the Men’s Roundtable on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The church’s announcement posted that it would be a moment of gathering, prayer, and intensive study through God’s words. They added that the fellowship is an excellent opportunity to know men members of CBC.
The website emphasized that the gathering is designed for men to draw nearer to Jesus.

According to the men’s page, the program for male members at CBC is designed to assist them to have a closer connection with God through Jesus. The men's ministry helps the members to have boldness in sharing the Gospel.
At Men’s Ministry, they hold study and prayer to nurture their relationship with each other. The website added that they are conducting fellowship so they could cultivate godly leaders at home.
Through their programs, the website mentioned that they could help male members to be servants in the church as they witness Jesus in their neighborhood.
The Men’s Ministry noted the scripture from 1 Timothy 2:8 that says, “I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling.”

The same website revealed that the men’s ministry of CBC envisions having an intimate connection with God when they pray and worship. Male members wanted others to understand and instill God’s word in their lives, as mentioned on the website.
As further noted, the men’s program wants unity in their faith. They added that the church’s ministry for men advocates and enriches Godly qualities.
Benefits of Prayer

One of the benefits they highlighted is that prayer gives people the chance to have an intimate connection with God. They said that prayer allows individuals to know Him better and make a stronger connection with Him.
The website emphasized the scripture in James 4:8, which says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
They also highlighted the verse from Psalm 145:18 that says God is near to those who call him sincerely.
More importantly, the Christianity website noted that praying assists people in entering God’s presence. As further explained in the Old Testament, people needed God’s servants, such as priests or prophets, to communicate with God on their behalf.
But they stressed that when Jesus died, He opened the way for people to talk to God directly.

The same website posted that earnestly praying could help individuals to be at peace. The website explained that prayer could give people calmness in a world full of worries.
The Christianity website emphasized the scripture in 1 Peter 5:7 that says those people could surrender all their worries to God because He cares for His people.
Moreover, the website emphasized that praying is a way for people to help others. They could pray for one another that they may find healing, as mentioned in James 5:16.
