It is a concert for the forgotten places. This is how musician Eric Genius described his Concerts of Hope. He joined KUSI’s Good Evening San Diego and gave details about Concerts of Hope.
According to Ginger Jeffries, Genius, the man leading the show, has performed across the globe, healing in the name of music. On January 23, the next stop for Concert of Hope in San Diego’s Adult Rehabilitation Center in Otay, Mesa.
The Salvation Army operates the rehabilitation center.
Eric Genuis launched Concerts of Hope in 2016. Through this venture, he reaches out to the imprisoned and marginalized, bringing beauty and dignity back to these people.
As heard from the interview, his music uplifts the spirit of individuals in the forgotten places – such as prison.
Composer, Pianist, Inspirational Speaker
As shared on his official page, Eric Genuis is a composer, pianist, and inspirational speaker. A world-renown performer, he has been sharing his music all over the globe. People had listened to him since his debut with an audience of 15 0000 in Krakow, Poland, 1997.

He has performed in almost 100 concerts globally each year with a group of world-class cellists, vocalists, and violinists. Salvation Army, Adult Rehabilitation Center
According to the Salvation Army’s website, in San Diego, its Adult Rehabilitation Center helps residents fight their addictions, build work and social skills necessary to re-enter the workforce, re-achieve health, and stability, and restore families that have been disrupted due to substance abuse.
The Salvation Army provides holistic work – therapy, counseling – group and individual, life skill development, and spiritual direction. Clients learn to recover from substance abuse.
This Christian organization has provided these – no-fee rehabilitation programs for over 100 years. These programs had provided emotional, spiritual, and social assistance to those fighting drug and alcohol dependency.
As shared on its website, the residents need clothing. At the moment, this one is the greatest need. Last January 20, the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center opened its thrift shop.
