The Cross Connection Church prepares a special event for women. The Growing in Grace: Women’s Petite Retreat is set for May 21 at Emerald Heights Clubhouse in Escondido.
Women’s Time, Growing in Grace
As announced on its webpage, the Cross Connection Church offers another opportunity, particularly for women, to grow in their faith and grace. This event is entitled Growing in Grace: Women’s Petite Retreat.
It will be on a Saturday, May 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Emerald Heights Clubhouse, Escondido. According to the Cross Connection Church, this event is a time to listen to Tina Masa as she helps everyone go through and dig deeper into the Lord’s Word.
Growing in Grace: Women’s Petite Retreat is a time for worship and breakout sessions in small groups. The Cross Connection Church invites women to join in this meaningful event. Space is limited, and registration costs $50.
The fee includes a catered lunch.
Women’s Ministry at Cross Connection Church

As shared on its webpage, Kelly Kierstead is the director of Women’s Ministry. Additionally, as stated on the website, the Cross Connection Church offers many ways for women to serve in this ministry.
According to the church, it has a lot of great volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The Cross Connection Church also offers events and other great serving opportunities for women.
Moms in Prayer International
The Women’s Ministry also engages members to come and pray together for the lives of their children or grandchildren. The group meets for one hour every week on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
The group started gathering for prayer last September 14, 2021.
Hikes for Women
At the Cross Connection Church, the Women’s Ministry also holds ladies hiking excursions. The hikes are easy, and anyone can join. The church also allows bringing dogs or kids.
The Welcome Team, After Service Prayer, and Hospitality Table are on hold due to Covid – 19. These two are other great ways that women can serve at the church. The Hospitality Table serves on Sunday mornings.
The volunteers serve refreshments before and after the service. Meanwhile, the After Service Prayer team prays with members for fellowship after each service.
