Rock Church Reaches Out to SDPD

The Rock Church, in the spirit of its name, The “Do Something Church,” consistently finds ways to help communities. Pastor Miles McPherson joined KUSI’s Paul Rudy and

provided details about its latest project.

As shared on KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego, the Rock Church collaborates with La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club Volunteers Partner. The partnership is set to refresh the San Diego Police Department’s Northeastern Division.

According to Pastor Miles, this coming Saturday, the Rock Church will be finishing its project at the SDPD’s Northeastern Division. The church refurbishes the station’s breakroom, meeting room, and kitchen cabinets.

Pastor Miles shared that her sister is the designer for the project. According to KUSI, the SDPD has been using the current furnishings since 1988. The project is intended to rebuild the kitchen, renovate the breakroom, install flooring, and more.

According to Pastor Miles, the project is possible through its partnership with La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club Volunteers Partner.
