How Daybreak Changes the World

Daybreak Church releases videos that feature Spark Overview and Spark Message Series. A video shared on YouTube provided details of what Spark, A Movement of World Changers is.

The video, dated Oct. 11, 2021, was the first of a series of videos about Spark. It featured Jason and Corri Graves, Daybreak’s lead pastor and women’s pastor.

The husband-and-wife team recalled that it was 16 years ago when God called them to lead Daybreak Church. Pastor Jason acknowledged that time flies, and there is already a new set of generations leading at Daybreak Church. He further stated that the church is shifting focus and that they believe it is prompted by God to raise the next generation to reach the next generation.

The church has been focusing on training worship leaders, future pastors, missionaries, and those who would change the world in the marketplace.

Corri continued to say that this generation is facing darkness like never seen before. She talked to some parents, young adults, and youth at Daybreak about depression, anxiety, and things coming at them, but Daybreak could push back the darkness with the love and the grace of God.

That is why the entire church family is focusing on the Spark Vision Campaign. The goal is to push back the darkness Corri mentioned.

Spark’s Goals

Pastor Jason and Corri enumerated the three main goals of Spark. These goals are to upgrade and expand kids and youth’s environment, grow Daybreak Leadership College, and prepare and strategize the launch of five new churches around San Diego County.

Still, from the same video, the couple requested all members of Daybreaks to pray with them for the coming weeks. According to Corri, they believed everything that happened in the church started with a prayer.

They prepared a prayer guide in which they asked everyone to pray for the different areas of the church. The guide provides a particular prayer for each day of the week. Corri continued by saying there is power in prayer.

Pastor Jason asked everyone to put the prayer guide where they can always see it and use it to push back darkness through prayer.

He then requested everyone, those who called Daybreak their home and those who consider it its church family, to pray and ask God what they should contribute to Spark financially. He believes God doesn’t need money but invites people to break greed and participate in eternally significant things with their finances.

He further encouraged every member of Daybreak by saying that God invites people to give back to Him after He provides for all. To see God change this next generation, He requires everyone to contribute.

In the latter part of the video, Pastor Jason stated that Daybreak has the privilege of partnering with God and the other Christian churches in the area to bring hope and light to the next generation. Finally, God wants everyone to be part of it.
