Congregations at Emmanuel Faith Community Church (EFCC) enjoyed an All-Church Beach Day at the Oceanside Harbor on July 06 to gather and have fun in the sun while at the beach with their family.
The church's Facebook post said they would enjoy their monthly Wednesday night prayer time at the beach. They added that they served hot dogs for dinner, or members could bring their food.
Building Lasting Connection
The EFCC group section revealed that the church aims to establish a lasting connection with individuals. For this purpose, the church offers various group opportunities for its members to grow.
Firstly, the Life Groups are available at EFCC. The website mentioned that these groups are venues where members could establish strong relationships while learning about God’s desire for each of them.
Teams walk alongside others in every season of their life. However, they noted that Life Groups are on hold for the summer and would continue in early September.
Another group the church offers is the Support Group. They wanted the congregation to know that people are not made to be alone, especially in times of struggle. These groups could help members to have someone who will be with them in whatever they are facing.
The church now has over 20 support teams with various focus areas such as addictions and chronic diseases. They also have a specialized group to support those who have Alzheimer’s disease.
Meanwhile, the EFCC helps members take the next step in their walk of becoming a follower of Jesus through the classes they offer. They teach them to live like Jesus and have a heart like Him. Besides, they also conduct Bible studies to equip disciples by growing their knowledge and truth of the words of God.
Through these classes, they could build excellent relationships along the way. Also, the church posted that they offer a program for adults which is called the Adult Bible Fellowships. This ministry is for midsize groups where members could establish meaningful connections. They study God and His work and conduct prayer and services.
The Outreach Group
For those who want to do something that could impact someone’s life, the church encouraged them to discover opportunities to volunteer. EFCC provides initiatives where members can volunteer in the street, city, and worldwide.
In the church’s Outreach section, they emphasized to the member to discover what God can do through them. They said that members could join them in prayer. They believe that prayer transforms everything. It changes their everyday way of conversation and could change people to change the world.
For those interested, the church said they could commit to praying by picking up missionary prayer cards. Members would need to sign up for their Global Prayer Challenge in January. They could still sign up for the Global Prayer on the same webpage.
The congregation could also give generously, as posted on the website. The church said that their financial support could transform the world and give joy that money cannot buy. It could create a lasting effect on their neighborhood and the world.
