Flood Church asks for volunteers for Christmas party

Flood Church San Diego announced they would need volunteers to throw the “Holly Jolly Christmas Party” on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Alvarado Canyon, San Diego.

The church’s Facebook page noted that the event would be the most significant Christmas program in town. There will be opportunities to help before, during, and after the party, as added on the website. 

Moreover, the church said they welcome people of all ages to register to help in the said program. 

Volunteer Opportunities

On the registration website, Flood Church stated that Holly Jolly Christmas Party would be one of the best Christmas programs in San Diego. They are encouraging members to help to make it successful. 

The church noted schedules for the volunteers to choose from depending on availability. They posted shifts from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Besides, they mentioned that members could serve at the Cafe or handle the children at Flood Church. The website also posted that they need volunteers to help greet visitors and assist in parking. 

In addition, the church asked for people to help secure the area during the event. Also, they said members could help set up and clean the things they need for the event. 

As mentioned on the website, those interested could also participate in the technical booth. 

Holly Jolly Christmas

In another section, the website revealed that Flood Church had been committed to making exceptional and significant opportunities for the people of San Diego. They emphasized that the church has been having fun for the past 22 years. 

Moreover, Flood Church believes that Jesus has given everyone hope, love, and joy to enjoy and share. 

According to the website, the party would be a vibrant, fun, and unique event filled with good music, food, and company. 

They highlighted that there would be a Ferris wheel for children to enjoy. They added that people could buy a present with a purpose. Also, they could sing their favorite Christmas carols. 

The other page posted more information about the Holly Jolly Christmas. They noted that the Ferris Wheel, Bounce House, and Photo Booth would be available for the whole period. 

Moreover, members and visitors could enjoy the food, Youth Makers Market, and Youth Lounge during the entire program. 

The website announced that the party's official start would be at 4 p.m, where there would be live Jazz. They added that they would open childcare for infants to preschool from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

More importantly, the church emphasized that there would be concerts throughout the program until 9 p.m. 

Gifts for First-timers

The same website stressed that those who just visited Flood Church for the first time would receive a few unique gifts. They explained that newcomers could drop by their Welcome Tabel in the lobby to get their presents.

Besides, they could also enjoy the Ferris wheel ride for free, as mentioned on the website. They added that the church would also give the newcomers raffle tickets for a chance to win gift cards and other rewards.
