Foothills Christian Church encouraged its members to attend the Candidate Town Hall gathering hosted by Turning Point Faith on Monday, Sept. 26, at the church’s Room A1.

The church’s announcement mentioned that they would hear from aspiring candidates for the local election. They added that they would discuss the school board and planning teams.

Besides, they would talk about more significant elections like the Senate and Congress. The event would discuss the Board of Supervisors and County Assessor.

The congregation could ask questions to the candidates. It would also be a chance for them to vote for someone with the same values.

The website announced that the upcoming election would be in November.

Turning Point Faith

According to the Turning Point Faith website, they are a movement that serves pastors, faith leaders, and churches all over the nation. They explained that they are creating a solid network of churches and local faith teams.

They mentioned that they are working with community organizers to fulfill their mission. They register voters and teach believers about the relationship between “Faith and freedom.”

In addition, the website noted that they are encouraging Christians to be part of protecting right given by God. They also motivate people to redeem the traditional values of the Bible in their country.

Getting Involved

The same website posted various ways for believers to be part of their movement. They said that they could conduct Faith and speaking programs. Besides, those interested could also teach classes for Biblical Citizenship, as noted on the website.

Turning Point Faith stated that they could help organize community events that could influence others. They said that groups or individuals could create small groups or chapters to advocate their mission.

Moreover, the website stressed that believers interested in participating could host a voter registration drive.

Empowering Christians

Meanwhile, the Turning Point Faith homepage emphasized that they are committed to empowering Christian to live out their faith. They noted that they are training and strengthening Americans to be ready to defend their rights from God.

More importantly, they explained that they are providing resources. These tools could enlighten Christians from lies about faith and freedom.

The movement is reaching out to Christian leaders and members all over the country. They invite them to attend their discussion on civic, society, and culture, as added on the website.

In addition, the website stated that they are educating people on constitutional rights commanded by God. They revealed that they are nurturing millions of individuals. They host Freedom Night America every month and Biblical Citizenship courses.

Turning Point Faith noted that they are hosting national faith trips. They also have faith leadership summits.

They believe the events would give their communities fundamental biblical principles.

The movement believes that as Jesus’ followers, they want to fight for the people of their country. But they admitted that they have few chances of making positive changes in politics and cultures.

They emphasized that by strengthening believers’ faith, they could impact the country for God’s glory.
