La Jolla Community Church (LJCC) invited its female members to attend their Community Bible Study (CBS) on Thursdays.

The church’s announcement posted that the classes for this year began on Sept. 15 and focused on the Israelites’ journey through the desert. Its next schedule will be on Sept. 22.

They added they would have morning sessions for those who would like to attend their face-to-face classes, while online meetings are also available via Zoom on Thursday evenings.

LJCC encouraged women to join the course to witness God’s work and experience transformation in their lives. Through CBS, they would also influence others around them, especially when they dedicate their time to studying God’s word, as further explained on the website.

Community Bible Study

In addition, the church announced that CBS is a well-built study class that offers face-to-face and online meetings. They explained that participants would meet weekly during the school year. They said that they could gather in large group discussions and small group discussions.

Moreover, they said attending CBS could be an excellent opportunity for women in the church and the community to discover more about the Bible and mature in faith with other ladies.

Changing Lives

According to the CBS website, they love to see the impact on people’s lives when they learn more about God through studying His Word. They emphasized that they offer courses for all age levels and stages of life.

As further explained, they have studies for toddlers, young people, and adults. They added that they also offer classes for those who are single and married. People can explore the scripture and talk about God, who has constructed the story from the past to the present.

Bible Study Essentials

The same website revealed the five primary keys that CBS is using to fulfill its mission. The first course mentioned is Individual Study. They explained that change occurs as an individual's interaction with God in His Word.

CBS stated that for personal studies, they offer study questions that could help participants live out the truths of the Bible in their lifestyles.

In addition, CBS also provides discussion for encouragement. In this course, the website explained that participants could have additional insights. These lessons could help them be more confident in God’s Word, as mentioned on the website.

Besides, they conduct the “encouraging discussion”  in small-group settings.

Effective, Helpful

Another of CBS’ essentials is teaching participants effectively. They emphasized that their trainers were well-trained to demonstrate the core idea of the Bible passage. They added that trainers give participants realistic applications for their lives.

Besides, the website highlighted that they are credible theologians that could guide learners to understand the passages’ historical and cultural ideas. They added that their trainers could assist the participants in applying the passages in the current period.

With the help of these theologians, learners could see the relationship between the scriptures as further explained.

More importantly, CBS highlighted that they have caring leaders that pray and motivate participants. They added that it is vital for them to help learners mature in their spiritual life. Also, CBS wants them to have a closer connection with other participants.
