Grace Church San Diego
As stated on their website, Grace San Diego's mission is to assist people in discovering Christ and growing into mature followers of Him. They feel that it is critical to engage with the culture in which they live as they continue to pursue this objective.
Their vision is to create a safe environment where people can experience Jesus. As a result, being imperfect while attending church is entirely fine.
Grace San Diego was founded in 1912 and is located in San Diego, California, United States. Christian High School, Christian Heritage College (now known as San Diego Christian College), and the Institute for Creation Research were all established under the direction of Dr. Tim LaHaye during the church's long and illustrious past. Grace Church San Diego was previously known as "Scott Memorial" for a number of years before its name was changed in 2009 to Grace Church.
These days, they are continuing to flourish on a solid basis of biblical truth, spreading a message of God's grace and love as well as an encouraging message of hope rooted in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Grace Church Connect Group
Grace Church is also encouraging everyone to participate in their spring connect group, which will meet in the spring. February is the beginning of the spring semester. Following one’s acceptance into a group, a Connect leader will provide additional information about the first group meeting. Connect Groups has a vision of building safe communities where flawed individuals can grow and learn from their mistakes.
In the same group, one will find a cross-section of real-life situations, as well as the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a, connect group. Some groups meet online, while others meet in person, while yet others combine elements of both. Connect Groups meet three times a year, in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Upcoming Event
Also taking place at Grace Church will be IF:2022, which is a two-day event where women from all over the world will come together to learn about their calling, be equipped, and find out the next step in their calling: to go and make disciples.
The topics that will be discussed at IF:2022 will include how to live in this world right now and how to negotiate a life that goes against the grain of popular culture. How do we foster a sense of community in the midst of all of this? What methods do we use to tell others about Jesus? There's a good reason why we're still here. There's a reason why we're still around. In this day and age, our lives are important. And we're not going to let it go to waste.
There will be a church service on Friday, March 4th at Grace San Diego Church, and a homegroup service on Saturday, March 5.
