Horizon North Park hosts fellowship with Jeff, Lilia Roenspie

Horizon North Park hosted a fellowship with Jeff and Lilia Roenspie on Sunday, Dec. 11.

The church’s website noted that Roenspie served in the Philippines for many years. 

They added that Jeff is now the director of Calvary Training Center in La Gloria. Besides, the website mentioned that the pool is cool at 62 degrees for brave people.

As further stated, Roenspie delivered his message at 5 p.m., and they joined in prayer. The congregation also had a Mexican dinner during the event. 

About Jeff, Lilia Roenspie

According to the MorningStar Christian Chapel website, Jeff and Lilia lived in the Philippines since 2003 before they returned to Mexico. They added that both of them served the Lord before they got married. 

In addition, the website noted that in the next 13 years, Jeff assisted in teaching and delivering messages at Amor Fraternal in Hermosillo, Mexico. They added that he oversees the pastoral teaching clinics.

Moreover, they emphasized that he helped the coastal church pastors by assisting them in their programs and giving them tools. 

Meanwhile, Lilia supervises the Sunday School and teaches evangelistic English as part of the Second Language Course, as mentioned on the website. Also, they highlighted that she is faithful in serving her husband and son, Gabriel.

More importantly, the website said the couple participates with Casa de Gracia Children’s Home to help the kids. They explained that it is an outreach for local people living on the streets. They oversee the youth group at Amor, as the website reveals. 

Called to be Director

The same website noted that Jeff accepted God’s calling for him to be the new Director of the Calvary Training Center in La Gloria, Tijuana. They stated that the center provides training for individuals to be equipped to serve God. 

According to the website, the center has four primary ministries, including a two-month School of Church Planting Intensive. As further added, this program is offered free to Mexican nationals. 

Besides, they explained that the internship program varies in length for Mexicans and other nationalities. As added on the website, they offer a short-term program and serve their neighborhood after school. They noted that they minister to nearly 40 kids in their community.

About Horizon North Park

Another section of the Horizon North Park website mentioned that the church had been a community of Christians within the center of North Park for more than 30 years. They stated that they work with Calvary Chapel and are a member of Horizon Christian Fellowship of San Diego.

Moreover, they highlighted that the church envisions telling the people the entire message of life and the everlasting life that Jesus offered. They said they wanted to teach them about Jesus and the truth about the Scripture. 

In addition, Horizon North Park desires to equip individuals to go to the world and preach the Gospel. They explained that the church seeks to help them follow God’s word and show the fruit of the Holy Spirit. 

They emphasized that they want people to be equipped to witness and testify about Jesus Christ.
