This March through April, Jamul Community Church organized a series of activities for serving the community. The church prepared opportunities for all ages to get engaged in community service.

Common Threads, Clothing Share Ministry

Last March 19, Jamul Community Church opened Common Threads. Through Facebook, the church invited everyone to the Jamul Hardware store from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Moreover, it encouraged people to bring some gently used items to swap or visit Common Threads and bring home some items.

According to the church announcement, Common Threads will open again at Jamul Elem on March 30 at 2 p.m.

One may also visit it at Multiply every first Thursday of the month at the church Lyons Valley Campus.

Common Threads is a mobile clothing share ministry of Jamul Community Church. It welcomes the swapping of clothes up to 12 pieces per family. The ministry accepts gently used clothes and shoes.

Additionally, if a family wants to swap more than 12 items, they may donate and receive a voucher that they could use some other time. If one does not have a thing to swap, they can still come and get some items to bring home.

Clothes are available for all ages.
