Kairos Church announced its need for a team of five who will join their Winter Missions on Sunday, October 23.

The church's announcement mentioned that they will host a mission trip to Over-the-Rhine (OTR) Cincinnati from Dec. 16 to Dec. 23, a full week. As further explained, the chosen team will help the OTR Living Water Church with its Christmas program.

They posted that the application is ongoing until Friday, Oct. 23. It would take members 30 minutes to one hour to finish the process, as noted on the website.

Kairos’ Global Outreach

The church’s outreach section noted that Kairos Church holds short and long-term mission opportunities. The scripture from Matthew 28:19 is the foundation of their global initiatives.

In the scripture, Jesus commands His followers to disciple all countries and baptize them in the name of His Father, the Holy Spirit, and His name.

As for the church’s short-term programs, Kairos Church is part of a global family of church-planting churches, the Acts Ministries International (AMI). They explained that most of their mission trips collaborate with other churches that ask for short-term groups to assist their local churches and programs.

The church also noted hosting medical efforts and urban programs during various times.

Long-term Missions

On the other hand, Kairos Church also advised members to apply for their AMI one-year internship program. This mission is for those interested in seeing God’s work in His global purpose. The members would be assigned to serve in a church as long-term full-time missionaries.

Moreover, they noted that church members would have an excellent opportunity to discover God’s calling through attending these long-term missions.

According to the AMI website, this program is part of AMI. They offer the AMI one-year internship program for young adults to be with a full-time ministry leader so they can witness God's work.

OTR Living Water Church

The OTR Living Water Church’s website revealed that they seek to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to OTR and its neighbors. They added that they are asking God that many people would experience Christ’s love and change to expand God’s Kingdom.

The website explained that the church’s vision is to build up Jesus’ followers and leaders in OTR to let the people know Jesus.

OTR Living Water Ministries

The church’s ministry section posted that OTR Living Water Church has been hosting Street Evangelism. They explained that members have been walking in the streets of OTR to introduce the Gospel since 1999.

Besides, they mentioned that they could meet those who may not attend services or are not being acknowledged by the community. The church members at OTR Living Water were able to reach out to their families as part of their ministry, as added on the website.

In addition, they also desire to create relationships with the young people in the community so they can know Jesus. The website explains that the church’s Kids Club helps children introduce the light of Jesus to their families.

They organize weekly after-school programs for the children in their community. They emphasized that these programs are based on the Bible.
