Legacy Church holds farewell party for Pastor

Legacy Church hosted a farewell party for Pastor Todd Molter on Monday, Jan. 8, to honor his service at the church.

The church’s website mentioned that he delivered his last preaching at all three-morning services. Then, they held the party for him and his wife, Dawn, in the afternoon.

They added that those who did not make it to the reception had been allowed to personally say their word of encouragement and thanksgiving message to Molter at the end of the morning worship service.

About Pastor Molter

The church’s homepage highlighted that Molter started serving at Legacy Church in 2011. He had a long and successful business career in the lumber industry and a pastoral position at a large church in Whittier, CA, before he served at Legacy, as revealed on the website.

Moreover, the website stated that Todd has worked in various key leadership positions in the local church and for the southwest regional branch of Converge Worldwide.

Besides, they mentioned that Molter finished his master’s degree at Bethel Seminary. They added that he speaks at camps and conferences in southern California.

More importantly, they said God blessed them with four adult kids and a very energetic dog named Sadie.

Bethel Church Welcomes Molter

The Bethel Church website announced on Dec. 10, 2022, that they had a welcome program for pastoral candidate Molter and his wife. The Bethel Church hosted a welcome breakfast for the couple. They noted that he delivered his preaching the next day.

In addition, the website stated that Bethel Church’s members would decide if Molter is to be their next lead pastor. They added that the session approved the selection and called for Molter unanimously.

According to the Crossmaps news website, Molter has been productive in the teaching programs of the Legacy Church. Lead Pastor Curt Gruber stressed that they had difficulties letting Molter and His wife go.

Gruber posted on their Facebook page that Molter had greatly influenced the members and their communities in La Mesa and Tierrasanta. He added that the teaching pastor invested and made disciples in many people.

Moreover, the website mentions that Legacy Church has been blessed by Molter’s dedication in the past 11 years. The Lead Pastor emphasized that it was hard for him to imagine that Molter would be leaving the church.

Gruber firmly believes that God is calling Molter to a different place. He hoped and prayed for God’s plan for Molter and his wife, as noted on the website.
