Legacy Church to distribute 120 angel ornaments to children

 Legacy Church will give out 120 Christmas angels for the kids at East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC) on Sunday, Dec. 11.

The church’s website noted that the organization is one of the church’s local ministry partners. They said that both campuses offered angels every Sunday, which began onn Nov. 27.

About East County Transitional Living Center

According to the ECTLC website, they aim to offer transitional living to the people. They added that they seek to restore lives. In addition, ECTLC  desires to inspire individuals in all neighborhoods.

As further explained, the organization wants to help people make the right choice by knowing Jesus Christ.

In another section, they emphasized that ECTLC is not just a shelter but a community. They said that as people discover more about their initiatives, they would consider others to participate in fulfilling their mission to establish hope for the homeless. 

They stated that their two dormitories could accommodate more than 100 individuals living on the street. They added that these newly built facilities could also allow them to shelter 40 more rooms for homeless families with children. 

In addition, they revealed that the population of children at ECTLC would increase from 180 to 250. The ECTLC stressed that with continued support from private groups and individuals, their story of giving hope continues. 

East County Transitional Living Center's Miracle

On the same website, ECTLC revealed its history of miracles. They stated that a group of civic-minded business leaders and a small church worked together to help the homeless in El Cajon, California, 19 years ago. 

They said that ECTLC has been transforming the lives of hundreds of distressed and lost men, women, and children living on the streets. 

According to the website, the organization has organized programs that make its efforts successful. Also, they mentioned that they offer personalized case management and compassionate care for the families they serve.

In addition, ECTLC said that they mandate strict adherence to rules to make broken individuals and families whole again after completing their programs. 

The website noted that most of the larger churches in the Southern Baptist Association and the City of El Cajon joined forces to develop one of the nation’s most successful transitional living centers.

They said the center is ready to work with those prepared to take responsibility. They admitted that their efforts were challenging but rewarding. As the website explains, they give transformative methods for others to experience a new life filled with hope and purpose. 

East County Transitional Living Center's Driving Force

According to the website, Harold Brown, the founder and CEO of ECTLC, is the inspiration behind the organization’s success. They explained that he created the unique business model and program of ECTLC. 

More importantly, the website mentioned that Brown has a heart for helping vulnerable people in the community. He inspires men, women, and children as they make initiatives to transform their lives from hopeless to hopeful, as revealed on the website. 

They stated Brown and his staff are accountable for the “sense of community” at ECTLC.
