Light Church to receive and host children

Light Church announced to its members that they plan to receive and host children with their families from Ukraine in the next few months.

The church's website posted that around 50 to 100 kids may need housing for the next three months. They added that they would provide an interest list to help them prove to the U.S. embassy that they could host the kids.

As further explained, if Light Church were able to submit all the requirements, there would be a higher chance of helping the Ukrainian kids soon.

The same announcement mentioned that those interested could fill out the form. The church explained that this form is not a contract for assurance of taking in a kid or kids but a way to show willingness and interest.

Light House Church mentioned that they would be giving members official applications and holding an interview for those who wish to continue. They added that there would be training to assure that members would be well-prepared.

The church also wants to ensure that the kid is in the right house, as posted on the website. They reminded members that they might not accept all interested in housing a child or children but still, they appreciate their support for the church’s initiatives.

Moreover, Light House explained that there would be a lot of opportunities to support this initiative for the next few months.

Light House’s Compassion

According to the church’s compassion section, the Light Church works with Father’s House in Ukraine. They encourage members to know more about how they could pray and help individuals in Ukraine.

In addition, the church is also serving others in Mexico, as noted on the website. The church mentioned that they collaborate with a church in Tijuana, Mexico. It cares for hundreds of refugees in Mexico, as further explained.

As for local initiatives, the church is also working with Generate Hope to fight against human trafficking. They explained that this organization offers long-term and effective programs to women who are victims of sexual trafficking.

Serving Orphans Worldwide

The Father’s House website emphasized that they have been hosting system-integrated programs for over 20 years. As further explained, these programs are focused on providing solutions to the social issues in Ukraine.

They said that the Father’s House became the root of social reformation in Ukrainian legislation through their experiences. They emphasized that they are responsible for dealing with some significant issues.

Crisis in Ukraine
