Love of Christ Fellowship Church (LOCF) celebrated pastors's month appreciation by getting to know their Senior Pastor, Arthur Benjamin on Thursday, Oct. 13.
The church’s Facebook page posted what Benjamin loves to do with his family and likes walking at Balboa Park. They also noted that the pastor loves to eat lasagna.
According to the post, New York and Thailand are Benjamin’s favorite places. He is also interested in reading the book Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets.
Benjamin emphasized that his favorite memory at the church was when he and his wife Violet got engaged on one Sunday.

The church’s website revealed that Benjamin decided to follow Jesus when he was 22 years old. Then they added that he received his license in ministering after three years. Besides, the church posted that he worked at Shiloh Church of God in Christ in Oceanside.
During his service at Shiloh Church, he worked in different roles in leadership, such as being an assistant pastor and men’s ministry leader, as explained on the website. They noted that Benjamin also led the Singles and worship ministry.
Moreover, they said he was a member of the Board of Trustees at Shiloh Church. The website highlighted that he served passionately at Shiloh for nine years. The minister decided to finish his Master of Arts in Theological Studies, focusing on Pastoral Care and Counseling at Bethel Seminary San Diego.

The same website mentioned that Benjaminbecame a part of the Rock Church and worked in the Rock University. He also served in their pastoral teaching team for supporting and training pastors, as further explained on the website.
When Benjamin was 33 years old, the website highlighted that he felt that God called him to nurture a church. He then finished the church planting training in San Diego and became the interim Senior Pastor of LOCF. They added that the church appointed him to be their lead pastor.
