Mark Foreman, the Lead Pastor of North Coast Calvary Chapel, announced the leadership transition at NCCC. Ryan Pfeiffer will take the place of Pastor Mark, and NCCC will complete the transition by September 2022.

North Coast Calvary Chapel is undergoing a leadership transition as Mark Foreman steps down as Lead Pastor. Pastor Mark announced this transition on Facebook.

Pastor Mark wrote that he is glad to share the details about the pastoral transition.

He informed everyone that North Coast Calvary Chapel is transferring the Lead Pastor role from him to Ryan Pfeiffer. Furthermore, the pastor also announced that NCCC would complete the transition in September 2022. Pastor Mark will move into a new role as Associate Pastor as he steps down.

Pastor Mark’s video accompanied the announcement on Facebook. It provided more details and his message regarding the pastoral transition at North Coast Calvary Chapel.

He encouraged everyone to watch the video and visit the church’s website to watch a sit-down Q & A with Pastor Ryan. According to Pastor Mark, the question and answer will provide an outline of the transition process.

Mark Foreman: Pastor, Author, Speaker

As shared on Focus on the Family website, Mark Foreman is the Lead Pastor of North Coast Calvary Chapel in Carlsbad, California. Aside from serving the ministry, he is also a conference speaker, church planter, worship leader, published songwriter, seminary professor, and counselor.

He is the author of Wholly Jesus and co-author with his wife, Jan – Never Say No.

As stated on his LinkedIn profile, he has served as the Lead Pastor of North Coast Calvary Chapel since 1991.

NCCC’s website shared that he loves surfing, traveling to underprivileged parts of the globe, and spending late hours in the studio with his sons. Pastor Mark has been married to his wife Jan for over 40 years.

Ryan Pfeiffer, Associate Pastor at NCCC

As written on the church’s webpage, Ryan Pfeiffer is the Associate Pastor of NCCC. He is to serve the role of Lead Pastor as he switches positions with Pastor Mark.

According to the InterVarsity Press website, he previously served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. He was the Divisional Director for San Diego. Pastor Ryan Pfeiffer co-author Longing for Revival, with James Choung.

In his Twitter account, he introduced himself as a local pastor, life–long campus minister, husband, father, and friend who aspires for breakthroughs within him and around him.

The church location is 1330 Poinsettia Lane, Carlsbad. As stated on its webpage, On-campus gatherings happen every Sunday at 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 6 p.m. The Children's Ministry program is available during 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 services.
