NewBreak Church will hold a Halloween carnival at Miramar Ranch on Saturday, Oct. 22, for elementary children.

The church's announcement mentioned that it would be an excellent opportunity for the church to be involved in the celebration and serve. They added that they would have the carnival after two years of suspension.

With this, NewBreak posted that they would need volunteers to assist with organizing some games at the carnival. They explained that members do not need to commit their entire day because they could help in a few hours.

Carnival Activities

As posted on the website, there would be carnival games and food trucks. The children could join the costume contest, and the teachers could enjoy the prepared raffle. They said there would be a cake of fortune, bake sale, and cake decoration competition.

In addition, they announced that the students could have fun with the pumpkin patch and prize booth. The carnival would be filled with dancing and shout-outs from the DJ, as highlighted on the website.

Moreover, they noted that Miramar Ranch Elementary mentioned that their staff works hard to give quality education to all students. They added that they support all kids in attaining their individual academic and social goals.

At Miramar Ranch Elementary, they create an environment where kids can enjoy learning and celebrate diversity and belongingness. They stated that they enrich their analytical skills and express kindness to everyone.

Legacy

Principal Carolyn Kalicki stated in her letter that she is honored to have the chance to lead a school full of traditions. Their culture help students become successful.

She emphasized that they are working with the teachers and workers to continue the legacy of success built at Miramar Ranch Elementary. As added on the website, they are creating a stronger connection with learners, parents, and community partners.

In addition, Kalicki mentioned that they center their mission on offering high-quality academics through the help and celebration of unique individuals. She stressed that they believe in their saying, “Work hard and be nice.”

Bringing Art to Classroom

In another section, the school noted that their Art Corps is a curriculum that helps the students develop comprehensive fundamentals of arts. They added that their method provides a process-oriented and hands-on art experience inside the classroom.

According to Miramar Ranch Elementary School, the success of this program relies on its volunteers. They explained that they should have training in workshops to teach art in the classroom.

In addition, the school said that this art program allows the learners to widen their experience and improve their skills.

Besides, at Art Corps, they offer a hands-on experience so every kid can positively discover their artistic abilities, as mentioned on the website.

More importantly, the school thinks that all people are artists. Through this program, the students could have a unique chance to respond to their environment, as noted on the website.
