OB One Church hosted the Married Couple’s Workshop on Aug. 5 and Aug. 6, Friday and Saturday, to help married couples understand that they are created for a connection.

The church's events section noted that this two-day event allowed married couples to have breakthroughs in their commitment. 

As further explained, the workshop also helps them enrich or redeem their relationships with their spouse. 

Besides, the website that God is willing to respond to these couples to create a secure emotional bond. 

In this workshop, OB One Church encouraged those searching for a healthy relationship or a refreshment for those who are tired. 

They also noted that through this seminar, married couples could have the strength to save their relationships.

The primary focus of this workshop is for married couples to have a deep commitment in their “Covenant Relationship,” according to the church’s website.

During the said workshop, the church posted that participants learned the process based on neuroscience and God’s words.

In addition, as posted on its website, On Aug. 5, Friday, the church started the workshop in the afternoon. 

On Aug. 6, Saturday, the workshop lasted the whole day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Church’s Essential Beliefs

OB One Church centers its belief on unity, as posted in its Beliefs section.

Based on the scripture from Acts 4:4-6, the church believes that there is only one body and spirit.

At OB One Church, the congregation acknowledges that there is only one God, one faith, and one baptism.

More importantly, according to the scripture, the church believes that there is only one God and father of humans.

The church also believes that God is the maker and ruler of the universe. Members at OB One Church think God in three personalities is co-equal and united as one God. 

Purpose of Marriage

In line with the Married Couple’s Workshop, the Got Questions website explained the reason for marriage. 

The website revealed that the first reason marriage exists is that Adam was lonely and needed a helper.

The website bases this factor on the scripture from Genesis 2:18. According to the Got Questions website, it is the primary goal of marriage. 

They added that marriage is about having a fellowship, companion, mutual helper, and comforter. 

Another reason they noted is to establish a safe home where kids could mature and thrive.

The website stressed that the best marriage is between two Christians who can nurture godly children.

More importantly, the website stated that marriage serves as a protection.

It helps people avoid being sexually immoral. In this world full of temptation, marriage is a haven to demonstrate sexuality, as posted on the website.

The website also explained that marriage provides holiness in people’s lives.

They added that the body of Christians made up the Church and tagged as the “bride of Christ.”
