Children at Potters House Christian Fellowship Clairemont are invited to join the Vacation Bible School 2022, Discovery on Adventure Island, and Quest for God’s Great Light from June 27 to July 02.

The church’s website noted that kids could also invite their friends as they discover the Adventure Island for the entire week. They added that their Light Keeper and Beacon, and Puffin would guide these little explorers on an exciting quest to look for five mysterious Infinity Lanterns to assist them on their way.

Besides, they added that children would use their map coordinated from the Bible.  With this, they could discover clues in looking for each lantern while knowing how God’s light shines in the lives of familiar biblical characters in the Old and New Testaments.

The church also informed those interested that they would have time to gather at the start and end of every night. They also prepare outside games and conduct lessons in the classroom. Children would have the opportunity to sing, make crafts, and experience God. They added that participants would discover God and His surprising, beautiful adventures.

They announced that each child would cost $15.00 for the entire week. They encourage members to sign up their kids and invite their friends. They added that there are a lot of exciting activities waiting on the Adventure Island.

Church’s Vision

According to the Vision Section on the church’s website, the Potter’s House Christian Fellowship gives importance to Jesus’ Commission, to go and preach the gospel to every creature in the world and make them disciples. The church added that its goal has been to fulfill the said commission through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting locally and globally.

They noted that they are always inspired to connect unbelievers and un-churched individuals with the Gospel of Jesus. They do this by spreading God’s love and saving grace worldwide. The church also emphasized that its focus, vision, and purpose are to assist in leading people into their personal and closer relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They mentioned that they have one goal in all the activities they do, including the use of Christian music, dramas, and movies. Whether preaching on the streets or doing their door-to-door outreach evangelism, they still aim for one purpose.

Kids Need Adventure More than Ever

Brynn Schmidt revealed on The OutBound website that children’s lives are overscheduled. It is filled with pressure and can be pretty stressful. This schedule includes school, homework, and extra activities that could consume their whole week, even their weekends.

Schmidt noted that children need adventure in their lives. Adventures could give children the freedom to learn what life is like without any plans. He said the outdoors is a perfect venue to learn to try new things.

It takes a lot of work to be good at wilderness activities. But he noted that there is no failure. Kids just need to try again.

Besides, the website mentioned that there is no alternative to exploring the natural world. Many events in cities help children to be involved with nature.
