The Calvary Chapel Ramona invites everyone to an event entitled “Created in the Image of God. Star Parker, a Pro-life Christian speaker, will grace this gathering with her presence. The event is scheduled for January 21 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The venue for this talk is Ramona High School Theater (PAW), at 1401 Hanson Lane, Ramona.
Pro-life talk with Star Parker
As shared on its homepage, the Calvary Chapel Ramona encourages everyone to come and listen to Star Parker about the topic of pro-life, its impact on society, and how everyone can take part in the fight against abortion.
The event is free, but registration is required before the event. Attendees will also have the chance to win raffle prizes, including air pod pros.
Star Parker
Star Parker is the Center for Urban Renewal and Education founder and president. She is a converted Christian, and this transformed her life significantly. Star Parker started a business in Los Angeles and began as an activist.
She consulted with federal and state legislators regarding market–based strategies to address and fight poverty. Her efforts were successful; her initiatives, some of these national welfare reforms were passed in the mid – 90’s.
Star Parker also has vast experience in the government. In 2020, former President Donald Trump appointed Parker to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights California Advisory Committee.
Before this, in 2018, Senate Majority Leader Appointed McConnell appointed Parker to the U.S. Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commission. In 2017, she joined the White House Opportunity Initiative advisory team to share insights on best providing solutions to America’s most distressed communities.
In 2017, Parker was included in the List of 15 women who proved that being Black and pro-life is neither “rare” nor “ignorant.” The article was published on the Live-Action website.
According to an article published in 2017, Parker was asked to testify before the House subcommittee for she is one of the rare black females Republican anti-abortion – rights activists.

Calvary Chapel Ramona is located at 114 14th Street, Suite D, Ramona, CA 92065. Rob Hubbard serves as the Senior Pastor for this faith community. He leads Calvary Chapel Ramona, together with his wife, Mari, as Women’s Ministry Leader, Dale Hubbard – Associate Pastor, Jim Peila – High School and Jr. High Pastor, Bev Hubbard – Sunday School Director and Oscar Magana – Spanish Service Pastor.
Calvary Chapel Ramona meets on Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Thursday night service is at 7:00 p.m.
Frontline Military Ministry at Calvary is committed to supporting servicemen and women currently serving on the battlefront through prayers, encouragement, and care packages.
SOWED is a Christian – community-based mission of Calvary Chapel. It provides food and prayer to the people of Ramona.
Through its partnership with the San Diego Food Bank, food is distributed every other Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel.
The mission aims to provide healthy food to anyone in need. SOWED welcomes everyone regardless of their background – race, gender, community status, beliefs, etc.
